Creative commentary plus crafty composition

October’s rich in overlapping sports, so how about more enriched clichés (with the originals in italics):

  • All you need is some concentrated smoke and mirrors will project it to the three dimensions
  • A smoking gun seems to be an argument against both smoking and the proliferation of firearms
  • Anyone who can professionally even out all those creases consistently well is a smooth operator Read the rest of this entry »

The world famous, innovative Royal Canadian Mint has expanded its range of subjects for collectible coins in recent years, some issued in series.  However, there remain many less culturally or historically profiled subjects which might engage a larger arena of buyers: such as via these series (in pure silver, except as noted)…

The E & O of Advisor Life

The September issue of The Insurance and Investment Journal includes a somewhat stark looking two-page checklist of duties and responsibilities of financial advisors, from the fiduciary standpoint which relates to errors and omissions (E & O) business insurance coverage.

It serves as an update reminder of what are the areas of service expectation, primarily for the advisor, but also implicitly for the consumer. Read the rest of this entry »
