Officially 1/3rd into summer, and here’s a dose of more enlivened clichés (with the original in italics):
- Some clothes fell into the crushed grapes, so you can add more flavour to your soup if you put a sock in it
- You can try a more obscure approach with rhyme or reason more directly for quicker results
- Put your money where your mouth is if there’s no other place on your body to hide it
- He must be one devoted gun collector if trading a rifle for an arm is worth it to him
- They can keep pounding the table, but it will never be completely smooth
- Pulling your hair is a rather drastic solution when you can’t find any scissors
- We’re using household items for markers, so according to this map turn left on the twist tie and right on the button
- The road Less traveled was scenic but the change in elevations made it a long trip
- Although we were right on the money we were not accurate on the value of the stamps
- He’ll munch on a roll of the dice if there’s no packs of hard candy left
